As the author of the innovative book series, Yes, It's a Scrapbook! I am a craft and paper-product junkie. I could and often do spend hours walking the aisles of my local office supply, fabric, craft and hardware store just gathering items and ideas on how to turn everything into a scrapbook. I took to scrapbooking as an extension of my paper product and photography addiction in 2000 when I walked into my local craft store in search of a hobby and walked out of the store excitedly clutching my new packs of brightly colored cardstock, decorative scissors, and a glue stick. As a columnist for Simple Scrapbooks magazine, I enjoy using and implementing the latest and greatest in the industry while maintaining a simplistic style. A former elementary school teacher, I have synthesized my first love of teaching with my passion for craft and enjoy traveling across the globe teaching my workshops at scrapbook stores and events, writing books, gathering inspiration, designing, and creating art. |
