1. When did you start scrapbooking and how did you get started?

I started in 2001.  My mom had discovered scrapbooking and kept insisting that I give it a try.  I resisted a long time.  Not because I didn't think I would like it, I knew I would, but because I knew that I would need to have every supply, every piece of paper, and every tool.  I am just the kind of crafter who has to have every tool of the trade for every hobby I take on.  I knew that once I gave in that there would be no going back!

2. What inspires you?

I truly believe we can find inspiration in anything and everything around us.  I am paticularly attracted to florals, soft colors, and anything shabby, vintage, and chippy.  For me the product and elements often inspires the project.

3. Describe your style...

Shabby, Chippy, Vintage, and Romantic

4. Do you have a design process?

Not really.  A lot of times the elements of a project just seem to come together and a project comes to be.  It isn't very often that I set down with a specific project in mind and pull products for it.

5. About how long does it take you to do a page?

A really long time!  I consider myself page challenged.  I prefer to make books and altered projects.  On the ocassion that I make a page, I find a sketch really helpful in getting me going, otherwise I will sit and stare at that blank page for what feels like hours trying to get going!

6. What is your favorite Prima product?

D) All of the Above!  I really love flowers and unique embellishments so there isn't much that Prima has that I don't love.  If I had to pick an absolute favorite, it would the hydrangeas (my favorite flowers) and the velvet leaves because they are so old fashioned and remind me of vintage milinery supplies.

7. What are some other products that you can't live without?

I love Mounting Adhesive Sheets by Therm O Web.  I use them adhering paper on nearly everything that you would normally think decoupage.  I also can't scrap without my stash of black heavy duty nail files.  I buy them in bulk at the beauty supply store.

8. When is your best scrapping done?

Late at night when the house is quiet and still and I can lose myself completely in my stuff.

9. What are you passionate about?

Creating.  Any time I can just sit and expiriment and explore with my supplies makes me feel alive.

10. What is your “ultimate” dream?

Right now I feel like I am living my ultimate dream!  I am blessed with a husband I love like mad, three beautiful children, and a wonderful home.  I get to create regularly and share my passion for creating with others.  What more could I ask for?

11. What are you most proud of?

My children.  I have been blessed with the beautiful, healthy children who are each so unique and diversly talented.

12. Anything else that you would like to share?

How about my favorite quote. . . "Don't ask what the world needs- ask what makes you come alive and go do it!  Because what the world needs is people who have come alive".  Howard Thurman
