Summer brings sunshine and beach days, while autumn graces us with crisp, cool sweater weather and the delight of stepping on those perfect crunchy leaves. Is there anything more satisfying? In today’s blog post, we draw inspiration from the beauty of autumn leaves. While Prima has always been renowned for our exquisite flowers, it’s time to shine a spotlight on our equally amazing leaves.

“Hello crafty Friends!

Autumn is already at our doorstep, and it’s high time for some autumn crafting. Inspired by pumpkin leaves and a wonderful Prima twig, I decided to create my first autumn decoration this year. I painted a small cutting board with patina paste, giving it a wonderful shade. I also used Finnabair’s moulds in the composition. I hope you will like it.”

“Today it’s all about Autumn Leaves, for my project I am sharing a simple altered hoop that I created using a mix of collections.

I really wanted to work with these old leaves from the Pumpkin Spice Collection, but I didn’t really have much more of that collection to pair with the leaves. So I started digging and found a mix of random collections that just fell together.

I really am happy with the way this came together, maybe I will mix collections more often!” -Lanette

“Autumn is my favorite season. I absolutely love fall flowers, colorful leaves and the crisp air. To celebrate this season, I decorated a little shiplap roundie with autumn themed products. I started out by painting the base with white gesso. While that dried, I applied Hello Pink Autumn Rub On Transfers to some smooth white cardstock then fussy cut them out. I also painted a Sharon Ziv Tree Branch Mould and Window to the Soul Mould with Finnabair Liquid Acrylic Paints.

Before gluing down all the flowers and other embellishments, I added some transfers onto the shiplap base. Then I built up a cluster of flowers and paper leaves from Hello Pink Autumn and Sharon Ziv and tucked in chipboard leaves, fussy cut leaf transfers and the moulds. For a finishing touch, I applied Art Stones using Soft Matte Gel.” -Adrienne
