It’s tag time today! Our expert designers created tags in a variety of styles, and with a variety of paper collections and other products. We LOVE how fun making tags can be, but we often get asked what we do with them afterward! Here are just a few ideas:

Frame together on a 12×12 paper and hang in your home as a decor piece.

2. Add to a gift bag with a note on the back for an extra special “card”.

3. Add a loop of ribbon and hang on your child’s bedroom door to show them how special they are to you!

4. Send to a teacher with a small gift to encourage them.

5. Leave one on your mailbox for your postal deliverer with a gift card tucked into the back.

Georgia Blues Tags

“I have created a couple of mixed-media tags all pretty in blue, featuring the gorgeous Georgia Blues collection. I have used the self -adhesive tags by Frank Garcia. Finnabair‘s fabulous blue paints and mixed media mediums were also mixed in with my tags.” ~ Tanya

“I placed some decorative paper to the sticky side of the tag and then applied a coat of clear gesso. I then added some of Finn‘s paper texture paste to the background over the tapestry stencil as well as some random strokes of white crackle texture paste. I coloured the background with different blue acrylic paints by Finnabair, as well as some Artisan Powder in French Blue.”

“I have used Re-design moulds to make some moulded embellishments, which I painted with black gesso and Sparks paint in Magical Pond. Next I lightly dry -brushed them with white gesso. I have layered my pretty Georgia Blues flowers onto some gauze, die-cut leaves, stamped images, resin frame embellishments, and chipboard. Pearls and glitter were added to the centre of the flowers for that extra shimmer.”

Autumn Sunsets Tags

“Are you ready for Autumn beauties ? I love so much this season and I looking forward our first Autumn here in Canada ! The new Frank Garcia Autumn Sunset collection is totally gorgeous ! This is my first project with this collection and I love all the new flowers, embellishments … I created this tag using Memory Hardware Self-Adhesive Tags…they are just perfect! It’s so easy to make beautiful tags with them. I used the paper Autumn Memories for my background and layered with different pieces of paper, along with a card from the 3×4 Autumn Sunset Journaling Cards. Lastly I added a bunch of amazing flowers and texture with different Finnabair products.” ~ Nathalie
