💙 French Door 💙

It’s the release day for a new Prima Marketing Frank Garcia collection, French Blue! The gorgeous blues in this collection have my heart singing, so I wanted to really highlight that hue in this project.

💙 When I think of France, I think of the beautiful, ornate doors in pastel hues. Rather than using a bunch of moulds to create that ornate look, I wanted to use the paper elements from this collection because they are just so pretty to create that more intricate look. The door panels were decorated with one of the pretty papers from the 6×6 pad. Then I built up layers using ephemera, tags, fussy cut elements, flowers and lace. Then no project is complete with a few sparkly elements!

The French Blue collection has a lovely romantic vintage style. This collection inspired me to create a reverse canvas. I used these wonderful shades of blue as a background and combined it with lots of fussy cut elements and beautiful Prima Flowers. It turned out so beautiful and shabby.

Today, I am sharing a card that I created using the “French Blue” collection. When I saw the envelop ephermera from this collection, I decided to use it to make it a memory keepr card instead of a regular card. I made a cut in the envelop ephemera for the photo mat insert and created a composition around it by layering flowers and die cuts.
