Julie is back with another gorgeous release, this one featuring new doll stamp sets and a paper collection, Butterfly Stamps! We find Julie’s design process for her newest line simply fascinating!

“This collection started out with a bohemian flair, but also has a 70’s vibe to it. I have a small collection of ads from this era…remember ‘Country Casuals’? The clothing resonated with me as I sketched skirts and shirts that I owned in that period. Some of the new stamps have jackets that you can add, which really gives them a paper doll feel and, of course, makes them more versatile as you can get more looks from the set.
This collection also became all about the hair! Some of the girl’s hair is designed with a versatile spin, so you can paper piece and come up with some fun ideas. Stay tuned for more inspiration thoughts and my ideas for some great hair!” ~ Julie

Willow

“Willow… she has a little surprise for you. Her jacket is a separate stamp, as is her head scarf = more bang for your buck! Her flowing dress will look great casual or dressed up. Are you ready to play?!” ~ Julie

The Willow cling stamp set contains seven pieces with a 7.75″ tall doll stamp.

Clarissa

Come meet Clarissa! She is a unique set for Julie as the focus is on her face and hair!

“The concept for Clarissa is to just have fun with her hair by adding anything to it: from flowers to cupcakes, pumpkins, sea creatures, anything! And you can build up her hair even higher with the stamps!” ~ Julie

The Clarissa Stamp Set contains seven stamps with Clarissa measuring five inches tall.

Fiona

“This is Fiona! She’s new to the gang. I designed her with big hair that I thought would be fun to paper piece (instead of coloring being the only option.) Her vest is a separate stamp that can be cut any length you wish, making her super versatile. She comes with an array of other smaller stamps consisting of butterflies, a flower, and a saying.” ~ Julie

Carefree and oh so happy, Fiona’s stamp set includes a sweet smock, butterflies, a blooming flowers and a wonderful quote. Fiona’s set includes six stamps and she measures 7.75″ tall.

Ivy

Ivy is our little cutie patootie measuring just five inches tall, making her perfect for cards, tags, planner, journals, and more! Her stamp set includes six wonderful cling stamps!

Phoebe

Phoebe’s stamp set is so perfect for spring and summer with her short-sleeves shirt and flowing skirt! Add in a cute headband, flowers, a butterfly and sayings and you have a wonderful mix for playing paper dolls! Phoebe measure 7.70″ tall.

Kelly

We think you will love our next two doll stamps, Kelly and Becky. Not quite as tall and wispy as other doll stamps, these two beauties are easy to relate to for many of us curvier women. Kelly measures 8″ tall.

Becky

Becky can be dressed up or down, ready for work, or gardening as her jacket stamp can be easily altered! Included are four stamps that you will love playing with. Becky measures 7.9″ tall.

Papers

Butterfly Bliss comes with it’s own paper pads in 12″x12″ and 6″x6″ sizes, perfect for stamping large and small pieces!

Embellishments

Chipboard pieces (above) are sweet and delightful, perfectly coordinating with the beautiful paper designs and palette! Ephemera packs (below) include so many fun pieces that will add color and design to your paper doll projects!

The chipboard pack includes 25 pieces, while the ephemera pack includes 49!

Inspiration

“I have created this 3D Accordion Fold flower featuring the new Julie Nutting Butterfly Bliss collection. I have used my Silhouette to make this fold (design ID 58039 if you have the machine and wish to make your own). I added the cute JN doll stamp Abby and she has been dressed up in the pretty pattern sheets from the collection. I adorned the rest of the fold with lots of gorgeous Prima flowers, chipboard leaves, memory hardware resin frame and pearls.” – Tanya

“Clarissa is such a fun stamp set to play with! I stamped her on watercolor paper (multiple times) to create height and dimension with her up do! When each layer of hair is set apart with foam dots you have lots of room to tuck in special flowers, ephemera, and a great big bow!” ~ Sharon L.

“Julie’s new Butterfly Bliss papers, ephemera, and chipboard are wonderful to create special projects with as well. I used cut-out quotes in my resin frames, then tucked in some chipboard pieces for a wonderful home decor piece with a great message!” ~ Sharon L.

My last project is a banner I created with the Julie Nutting chipboard banner kit layered with lots of her gorgeous new papers from Butterfly Bliss and doll stamps from the Phoebe, Willow, and Kelly sets. (This banner kit has so many sturdy pieces, enough to make two full banners!)
