Christmas will be here before you know it, so why not start a wee bit early and get some of those holiday-inspired projects started! Christmas in the Country by Frank Garcia is one of the most beautiful, joyous lines! Today our papercraft experts have created some very special projects just for you!

    Christmas Lamp

“Christmas in the Country, seems to me, is one of my favorite collections! It has so many different elements for cutting, and prints make you immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere of the New Year from the very first minutes, as soon as you pick it up!” ~ Alyona

“I created a lamp in the form of a house. Here I collected the most favorite pictures from the collection: a deer that looks out of the window, cut flowers, birds… The entire house, as well as its base, are created from scratch from binding cardboard and glued with paper from the collection. Stunning flowers and other embellishments helped to decorate the project.”

    Winter Tree + Star

“I absolutely loved this project! I sat in my craft room watching “Home Alone 2” while crafting with the gorgeous “Christmas In The Country” Collection  I use a solid wood star and Christmas tree I got from Hobby Craft and gave them a quick coat of Finnabair’s heavy gesso. Stencils added design, and Finnabair’s acrylic paint in Gold Rush was added with a dry brush  And now my favourite part, adding the embellishments! The flowers in this collection are so gorgeous it was hard not to use them all  I also did some fussy-cutting from the paper pad and hot glued it all together. Melange Art Pebbles added highlights to Santa’s face  I’m so happy with how they turned out that I’ll definitely be using them in my home decor this year !” ~ Toni

    Shaker Canvas

“Christmas In the Country collection is by far my most favorite Christmas collection ever. Today I made this canvas with a shaker element in it. I used a sisal wreath and gorgeous flowers, then fussy cut images from the collection to form a cluster around it. Love how this turned out.” ~ Jaya

    Santa Star

“I love the Christmas in the Country collection by Frank! Just one word…STUNNING!!! Today I am sharing an Altered Wooden Star shape which I painted with Impasto paint in Victorian green and then lightly dry brushed with some white gesso to give it that shabby chic look. Using one of the pattern sheets in the 12×12 collection, I placed my star shape on top and then lightly traced half of it with a pencil. I cut the star out and then distressed the edges. Next I added some texture with paper texture paste over Finn‘s ornate lace stencil. I randomly added some of the paste on the sides too. I have layered the cute little Santa picture onto lots of die-cuts. I painted the chipboard Christmas ornaments with Finn’s metallique paint and also lightly dry brushed them with white gesso. Next I adorned my picture cluster with the collections STUNNING flowers, sisal wreath, metal trinkets, die-cut snowflakes and a pretty die-cut bow. I added some random paint splatters and sequins for the finishing touch.”- Tanya
