Lose Yourself in the Music

We love it when small projects have such BIG impact! This embellished music box is a delightful blend of so many pretty elements. What a lovely place to hold some tiny treasures, precious photos, or jewelry. Or set it on top of and end table, the piano, or a bookcase as a unique decorative touch.

I wanted to decorate this little wooden box for this music theme. My inspiration were ornate music boxes and I wanted to bring the same atmosphere for this little one, too. So I first painted the box with the Opal Magic paint and then used Pretty Mosaic collection to add some beautiful patterned papers on top.

I decorated the box using Pretty Mosaic chipboards and flowers and managed to find the perfect quote from the 6×6 pad to add to the cover as well. There’s also some Mechanicals and pearls in the mix – kind of bringing the opposite ends of a monochrome scheme, white and black.
