Mother’s Day is such a wonderful opportunity to express your creativity using Prima’s beautiful papers and flowers! This card project below, by our Design Team member Riikka, is a lovely example of all the ways pretty embellishments can be used to make such a lovely card. But also, the same concept can be applied to a scrapbook or art journal page, a canvas, or an altered book cover.

This year Mother’s Day is going to be different. I’m predicting that a lot more cards get to be sent this year than previous as you may not be able to visit moms or grandmothers on Mother’s Day. But even if you don’t send a card out, you can make one and send a photo of it or show it during a video call!

My mom is getting a sweet and pink card this year. It evolved around the endearing little fairy from the Dulce journaling card pad, who has love to pass around. I added some more hearts to the background using two cards from the Apricot Honey pad. And to finish the card – more hearts! The puffy pink hearts are from the Fruit Paradise Puffy Sticker sheet.

Hearty, lovely Mother’s Day to all!
