“I will love the light for it shows me the way, yet I will endure the darkness because it shows me the stars.” ~ Og Mandino

Happy Monday! Our designers, Riikka and Stacey, are here to spark a path to creativity with a fabulously enlightening STARS feature!

Poetic Rose Star

“I found this wooden star shape at my local craft store and thought it would be lovely to decorate on a different shape to the usual. I used papers from the Poetic Rose collection for my background, I love this grey music note pattern. I used lots of flowers from various collections that blended in with my colour palette. Ssticks, fibers, and art stones add much needed texture. I love how this turned out; a really shabby piece.” ~ Stacey

Purple Moon

“I keep saying this – I’m a night owl. Whenever everyday routine of work and school is broken, I tend to stay away long after midnight and sleep on the next day. The best thing is if there’s a moon and starry sky outside. To see the stars light the sky and then lose battle to the rising sun. ” ~ Riikka

“To make these tags there was no other way than use “Moon Child” collection. I mixed in as many stars and moons that I could think of and that still looked cool. I picked up the colors from the “Moon Child”, too, but added a lot of white pearly shine to celebrate lunar luster. “
