Selfie Day!

We love seeing layouts and projects of YOU the artist! Of course, we sometimes have to scrap about ourselves! It reminds us about how beautiful we are and the happiness we bring to others. Today the team wants to share their favorite Selfie projects!

Although I’m a winter girl, I adore autumn, too. I love the velvety blue nights, colorful, rustling leaves and nippy weather with fog undulating in the mornings. I’m also a keen tea lover, so I used tea tones in the page as they match the autumn palette as well.

I mixed several collections in the page with color as my guiding light. I chose a soft colored 12×12 sheet from the Moon Child as my background with a beautiful Moon design. I created a circle, kind of mimicking a moon, and painted it using white gesso. On top I added tea shades using “Tropicals” watercolor set and some stamping. On top I then clustered papers from Autumn Sunset, tea bags, a Vintage Alpha card and several embellishments following the warm tea tone scheme.

It’s my first inspiration for Prima Marketing and I wanted to be special. Few months ago I moved to new apartment and I’m still trying to make it nice and cosy. What makes house a home ? I have only one answer for that question-photos. I have many beautiful photos of my family and friends and since I’m a crafter, they shouldn’t be on my computer. I decided to do what I should have done years ago ! I created LO in a frame. First photo I chose is very special to me, it’s me and my fiance teb years ago. Yes, we were young and beautiful and I simply love this photo. He is my whole world and even more and that’s why I chose Moon Child paper set to create this piece. We both love cosmos so it’s a perfect theme. I can’t imagine creating without molds so you can find castings from few different sets. All my castings I covered with Finnabair black gesso and with dry brush technique I added some colors using Art Alchemy Metallique and Sparks paints. Mechanicals, Art Pebbles and flowers from Wild and Free collection were perfect for my project so I add a bit here and there. Few splashes with White Gesso and my galaxy is finished.Do you frame your photos ? Is it important for you to keep memories close, not hidden on computer ? Let me know in the comments !

Hi to you all! Today on the Prima’s blog – selfie day. I decided to add to my photo some inspirational quotes I took from the Flirty Fleur collection which I felt close too me. Not so long ago I have decided to say out load, and mainly to myself, that I want to be a full time artist. I think that this phrase – DO MORE OF WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY – is a truly a word to live by.
