“I live by the mantra that you can never have too much sparkle. And metallic gold is one of my favorite forms of sparkle!

I started by stenciling a little bit of modeling paste onto a canvas then layered some paper with metallic gold accents from The Plant Department on top. The main golden accent is a piece of Decorative Chipboard covered in Metallic Gold Flakes, a bumblebee charm, and some fussy-cut metallic gold ephemera. For another hint of gold, I painted some moulds with Opal Magic Acrylic Paint in Rose-Gold, which I think pairs nicely with the soft coral-hued flowers I chose.

“It’s all about GOLD on the Prima Marketing Inc. blog today. I created this mixed media Canvas featuring lots of AMAZING Finnabair products and Re·design with Prima moulds.

I prepped my canvas with black gesso. I then added some texture with a stencil and white sand texture paste. Once it dried I gave it another coat of black gesso. I then highlighted the canvas with white gold wax.

I created some castings with the moulds and air dry clay. All have been painted with black gesso (except the moths) and highlighted with vintage gold wax.

The moth castings have been prepped with clear gesso and painted with liquid acrylic paint and then highlighted with metallique waxes.

I glued everything onto my canvas with 3D matte gel and added a sentiment.” -Tanya

“I love altering brushes and today I am sharing a small paint brush that I altered using various products from the Prima Finnabair line. I created a composition in the center of the brush using mould embellishments. I colored it using Patina blue, rusty red and rust brown wax. Then I highlighted the embellishments using Vintage gold, added golden pearls, glass beads, glass glitter and glitters.” -Veena
