Spotlight on Karolina Bukowska!

This week on the blog, we’re shining a spotlight on all things Karolina Bukowska! Join us as we showcase stunning projects created with her two exquisite collections, In the Moment and Bohemian Heart.

The muted hues paired with stunning that make up the In the Moment collection, designed by
Karolina Bukowska, make my heart sing! I wanted to create a project that used the entire color
palette and focused on the paper flowers and ephemera from the collection.

For this project, I started by applying modeling paste through a stencil to create texture. Once
dry, I used a paintbrush to add just a few drops of the Liquid Acrylic in Avocado Green in various
spots around the canvas. To get the color to move, I misted it with water and used my
paintbrush to add more paint where needed.

One of my favorite elements of the collection is the embroidery hoop icon, but instead of fussy
cutting it out or using the one in the ephemera pack, I decided to add an actual embroidery
hoop to this project. I used watered down Acrylic Paint in Umber to stain the wood a little, then
decorated it with a Memory Hardware mould colored with the same brown paint and the new
Black Gold wax from Finnabair.

To float the frame, I added it on top of several flowers from the collection. Then I built up the
layers on top of the embroidery hoop with leaves die cut from some of the 3×4 journaling cards,
ephemera, fussy cut elements, and flowers from the collection.

Today at Prima we are sharing projects created using Karolina’s collection. I have used the “In the Moment” collection designed by Karolina to alter this beautiful birdcage from Prima.

I love the colors of this collection and it went perfectly with the birdcage. I used one of the pattern paper for the background and built the composition by layering flowers and ephemera elements.

Hello dear friends! Sharing a Layout (photo credit: pixabay) featuring the STUNNING Prima Marketing Inc. Bohemian Heart collection designed by Karolina Bukouska.

I fussy cut the wreath from one of the sheets in the collection and layered it onto another sheet. I placed the photo in the center of the wreath and adorned it with SIIC, ephemera pieces, chipboard stickers and beautiful Prima flowers.
