“Today’s Blog post Spotlight Is Finnabair’s Effect pastes, So I wanted to create something dark and beautiful showcasing the paste! I used the lace from Postcards from Paradise and colored it black using Finnabair’s black liquid acrylic! I wanted it dark to really show off the shine of the Magic Potion Effect Paste! I used flowers from Aquarelle dreams and Impasto paints for that beautiful matte finish, I love how well all the different mediums and collections play so beautifully together!” -Nicole

“Today we are sharing projects with Finnabair effect pastes. I have created a panel in which I have used two of my favorite effect pastes Tiger’s Eye Stones jewel texture paste and Golden Dragon effect paste.

You can directly apply with a brush to add a shimmery texture or you can apply it through the stencil. They have such a beautiful shimmer and texture and I love the effect of these pastes.” -Veena

“Hello, Today I am sharing a layout that I created using a mix of Finnabair’s Liquid Acrylic, Metallique and of course Opal Magics. I love creating with the Opal Magic line, they truly are Magical with their unique magic two-tone iridescent effects.

With just a bit of black gesso and a little Dry Brushing the Opal Magic Paints add an amazing amount of shine. I am really happy with the way this layout turned out. I hope you like it too!

“It is always nice to have a vase with brightly colored flowers in a special place at home. And even more if we do it with our own hands and love. For this project I altered an MDF structure with gesso, paint, molds, and unicorn effect paste. The effect paste was used on a transparent acetate sheet.” -Mila

“Opal Magic paints are truly magical. Depending on what background we use them, we will get a different effect. In my project I used two colors – violet-gold, which shines beautifully on a dark background, and blue-green, one of my favorites, which fits perfectly with brown, rust, yellow. It imitates the patina effect perfectly. In this work I used paints in two ways, first I used a splatter effect. These shiny particles are wonderful! And to emphasize details I used a dry brush effect- If we spread a very small amount of paint with a dry brush or finger, we will get an effect similar to waxes, especially on a dark background.” -Kasia
